Robious Lock-In with Captive Free

In November we got together with Redeemer Lutheran Youth for a lock-in at Robious Sports and Fitness. Between tennis, racquetball, swimming and board games, there wasn't ANY time for sleep, so we hope everyone got caught up the next day. Captive Free did a great job of leading games and music, and as always were a lot of fun to hang around with. (if you missed them, be sure and sign up for the Virginia Beach Zone. (Even if you didn't - sign up for the Zone!!!)

It was nice to meet Pedro and Amanda. We're getting to know Bryce well - and were glad to have visitors spend the night with us. If you liked this event, be sure and let the youth board know - so that we can plan one again.

Let's be honest. Its been a VERY long time since we have up dated this blog. Here are some photos from the not to distant past. We had to say goodbye to our seniors, but got to welcome the freshman. The Lord gives and the Lord takes, Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Ski Retreat

We're headed to Winterplace Resort in West Virginia the weekend of February 8-10. We'll meet at Trinity at 2:00 pm on Friday, the 8th. Bring a bag dinner for Friday night and money for lunch on Sunday. A Christian concert by Kutlass on Saturday night is part of the weekend experience. A few spaces are open. Contact Randy Ronning for more details.

Captive Free North East at Trinity Coffee House

Captive Free in Concert here on Friday, January 25 at 8:00 PM. The style will be an informal coffee house, complete with snacks and music from you the congregation. All are invited. High school youth may stick around after the concert/coffee house for games with the band. (We are no longer having the “lock-in” afterwards.) If you can be part of the coffee house by playing a song on guitar, or piano, or just about anything, please be in contact with Doug Kountz or Randy Ronning. We are looking for hosts for the band for Friday evening, but please remember they will be at the church until midnight with the senior high youth. See Randy if you can host one or two band members.
